The Challenge

A unique adventure of traveling across the globe using only human power, a challenge that pushes the limits.

Human Impulse is a unique project aiming to complete a solo journey around the world solely powered by human strength. This challenge is undertaken by Louis Margot, who will travel across the planet by cycling on land and rowing across the oceans.

Louis is attempting to break the current record for a solo human-powered circumnavigation of the world, held by Erden Eruç, which stands at 5 years and 11 days. Louis aims to complete this challenge in approximately 3 years.

Yes, to complete a human-powered circumnavigation of the world, it is essential to meet specific criteria: starting and finishing at the same point, crossing the equator and all longitudes, and passing through two antipodal points (two opposite points on the globe).

Inspiring the youth to follow their own impulse while working for the fundamental rights of all children.
