Human Impulse Day at 'La Crique'

01.08.23

What a day ! On this past July 30th, a memorable and inspiring day took place at ‘La Crique’ in Morges to celebrate the Human Impulse adventure and all that it represents.

We had the pleasure of welcoming two inspiring personalities, Steve Ravussin, a renowned Swiss sailor, and Noam Yaron, the eco-adventurer of ultra-endurance. They shared their captivating experiences during an open panel discussion with Louis Margot in front of an audience of about a hundred people. The discussion was rich and diverse, ranging from technical points and sports details to much broader questions about motivation and the aspiration to undertake projects like this one.

Then, the long-awaited moment of unveiling the boat’s name finally arrived: ‘Badadia’. Found by Joël Dumauthioz, a childhood friend of Louis. This name proudly represents the Vaud region and embodies the crazy yet free spirit of this upcoming adventure.

We warmly thank everyone who made this day possible and all the support you bring to the project. More than ever, we felt the power of the ‘Human Impulse’ community, reminding us that following one’s impulse is a shared journey!

The next stage now is on September 3rd for the official launch of this extraordinary human adventure, starting with the cycling departure from Morges!
